Course Description
The change in the concept of NPOs existing as charitable organisations to entities that operate as businesses providing valuable services to communities requires that NPOs are managed within the codes of good governance and practices applicable both nationally and internally. In order that NPOs are better able operate, thrive and remain sustainable for the long term, it is imperative that centre managers and team members have the skill set and necessary tools to negotiate the ever demanding NPO landscape.
The purpose of the NPO Development training is to provide much needed knowledge and skills transfer to centre managers and teams. It is directed at building capacity within the NPO sector so that we are able to empower community leaders to better serve the communities that so desperately need these services. The value add of this program, is access to an extensive folder of editable policies, procedures and templates required for the effective functioning of any NPO as well as an additional NPO Toolkit containing international best practices.
